Becoming a Supporter Member of the Jaranga Cultural Association means being an active part of our Jaranga, our small community.

It is a way to contribute to the work of sharing the values and ideals of The Project, feel them as your own, and try to build a path of change in your daily life.

Moreover, being a Supporter Member symbolically means working towards a common goal, like a pack of sled dogs; that is why we decided to give these names to our members:

Wheel supporter: wheel dogs are those placed in the position immediately in front of the sled. Their role is crucial because they are the first to move the sled as the team starts out. The choice of this name for the youngs who would like to be supporting members means giving them a great importance as they hold within those positive energies capable of moving the sled of existence towards the horizon of a real change.

Team supporter: team dogs are the core of the team and contribute to the power and the cohesion of the entire pack.

Leader supporter: lead dogs are the two at the front of the team. They have marked thinking abilities, they listen to the musher’s commands and take on great responsibility by making decisions independently if necessary.

Explorer supporter: dedicated to those who see in exploration a way to seek a sincere and authentic relationship with natural elements and other human beings.

Family support: a chance to include the entire family in our project, as a sled dogs team is a family group.
